Bridge with OP Standard

The OP Standard Bridge is an optional fast path between Ethereum and the five OP-stack L2s: Base, Optimism, Unichain, Soneium, and Ink. It handles ETH, WETH, and listed ERC-20s at native L2 speeds.

Withdrawals take ~7 days

Deposits (Ethereum → L2) arrive within minutes. Withdrawals (L2 → Ethereum) initiate immediately, but funds arrive on Ethereum only after the OP Stack's prove + finalize cycle (~7 days). This is a security feature of the OP Stack, not a SkyBridge limitation.

Supported chains

Ethereum ↔ Base · Ethereum ↔ Optimism · Ethereum ↔ Unichain · Ethereum ↔ Soneium · Ethereum ↔ Ink

Arbitrum One is not an OP-stack chain and is not supported on this rail — use CCIP for Arbitrum transfers.

What you need

  • ETH, WETH, or a listed ERC-20 in your wallet
  • Native ETH for the flat EntryPoint fee on Ethereum

Step-by-step

1. Connect your wallet

  1. Open the SkyBridge app.
  2. Click Connect and complete the wallet connection.

2. Select Ethereum as source (or destination)

  1. Set the source chain to Ethereum and the destination to one of the five OP-stack L2s, or vice versa.
  2. The app will offer OP Standard as a route option where available.

3. Select your token

Choose ETH, WETH, or a listed ERC-20. If you want to bridge a custom ERC-20 that is not listed, use CCIP instead — it supports any token.

4. Enter the amount

The interface shows the flat EntryPoint fee and the estimated destination amount.

5. Confirm and bridge

  1. Review the transfer details and click Bridge.
  2. Sign the transaction in your wallet.

6. Track your transfer

Deposits (Ethereum → L2) typically arrive within a few minutes. Withdrawals (L2 → Ethereum) have a ~7-day finalization period: the withdrawal initiates immediately, but funds appear on Ethereum only after the OP Stack's prove + finalize cycle completes — check the Activity panel for status.

Notes

  • This rail does not support NFTs via OP Standard; use CCIP for NFT bridging.
  • If your token is not listed for OP Standard, the app will automatically offer CCIP as an alternative.
